Supportive Measures Related to Discrimination

Individuals who may have experienced discrimination, or who are parties in a discrimination investigation, may request supportive measures designed to restore or preserve equal access to the University's programs and activities, protect the safety of all parties or the environment, and/or deter prohibited conduct.

Individuals who need supportive measures should request them directly from the departments or individuals with the ability to provide them, such as the appropriate faculty member, supervisor, or human resources representative. The departments or individuals with the ability to provide the requested supportive measures will determine whether supportive measures are reasonably available and appropriate depending on the circumstances of each case. The campus Equal Opportunity office is also available to meet with University members to address questions or concerns about the provision of supportive measures.
